LONDON/PARIS, December 14, 2022 – Morningstar, Inc. (Nasdaq: MORN), a provider of independent investment research, through its rapidly growing global index business, announces the launch of Morningstar® France Positive Economy Select 30 Index. The index is licensed to Citi to underlie structured products.
The Morningstar® France Positive Economy Select 30 Index pursues objectives that align with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards and is built with data and scoring methodologies from the Positive Planet Foundation. The Positive Planet’s mission is to measure the positive impact of French businesses and corporations and this index is powered by its Positive Economy Scores.
The Positive Economy scores from Positive Planet are based on 35 indicators, which are then regrouped around five dimensions focused around employment, sharing of value produced by the company, its impact on the environment, the company’s development and the long-term strategic vision involving all the company’s stakeholders.
